“The Beauty of Christmas”

This will be a relaxed day of “everything Christmas”!
We will visit the theme decorated display of Christmas Trees at the Grimsby Museum. This lovely display is put on by the local Rotary Club of Grimsby and has been raising money for charities for over 18 years. In 2018 there were over 40 decorated trees on display, as well as wreaths, they raised over $18,000 dollars for the cause! They also sell draw tickets for the spectacular trees! You just might win!
Now we make our way to the well known “Betty’s Restaurant”, in Niagara Falls for a tasty dinner. You will have a choice upon arrival of Fish & Chips, Roast Beef or Roast Chicken—all with appropriate accoutrements. A vegetarian entrée is also available. There will be dinner rolls, tea or coffee and assorted pies for dessert. (I’m a fan of the Lemon Meringue!!)
A drive through the fabulous display of the “Winter Festival of Lights”, is next. The signature 8km long route, travels through the beautiful landscapes of the Niagara Parks, Dufferin Islands and surrounding tourist districts to transform the city into a winter wonderland. As a treasured holiday tradition for people from around the world the Winter Festival of Lights is attended by over one million visitors each season. A drive by the falls is sure to be a hit!
